Admission Criteria for General Nursing & Midwifery (GNM)

Age Criteria

17 to 30 years (Age relaxation of 5 years in upper age limit in cases of APST candidates).

Eligibility Criteria
  •    10 + 2 in Arts/Science/Commerce, preferably Science or equivalent with aggregate of 45% marks, and minimum of 40% marks in English subject.
  •    Unmarried female candidates are only eligible for admission.
  •    Candidates shall be medically fit.
  •    Candidates who have passed ANM from any INC/APNC recognised Institution, and which is registered with SNRC are also eligible for admission.
Documents Required
  •    Passed Certificate of class 12th/HSSLC.
  •    Marksheet of class 12th/HSSLC.
  •    High School Transfer Certificate.
  •    Class 10th Pass certificate.
  •    In case of SC/ST candidates, supporting documents must be produced.
  •    Conduct/Character Certificates from Head of the Institute last attended or from any Gazetted Govt. officer.
